Artist's Comments

Originally named the Necrontyr, the Necrons lived on a planet where their lifespans were short and painful. To this end, they discovered the C'tan, beings from their closest star, and made them as deities to worship. To further show their devotion to their new gods and due to their aspiration for immortality, the Necrontyr willingly gave their souls to be implanted in bodies made of necrodermis, 'living metal'. They became slaves to the C'tan in order to harvest souls for their endless appetites. The Necron Lord acts as a link between the C'tan and his fellow Necron warriors to lead the deathless armies into battle, as well as being a deadly killer.

the overall design is nice, but... some of the lines seem a little bendyish... like, where it's not 'supposed' to be... (do you know what I mean)
